FAQ

A few commonly asked questions.

What does a plan cover?

Aeday covers qualifying IRS and state tax notices, proposed adjustments, correspondence audits, office audits, field audits, and related administrative representation. We review the issue, communicate with the tax agency, provide supporting documentation, and challenge incorrect proposed adjustments when appropriate. Aeday does not provide tax-debt relief or collections-resolution services.

What is not covered?

Matters that began before coverage, including later letters about them, court proceedings, preparing returns, tax-debt relief and collections, and the tax itself. The plan terms list every exclusion.

When does coverage start?

Coverage applies to IRS and state tax notices dated on or after your coverage start date, which is the day of your first successful payment. A notice dated before then, or a matter already under way when you enroll, is not covered.

What if I already have a letter?

You can still enroll, but that letter is not covered, and neither is any later notice about the same matter, even one dated after coverage begins.

What if I have an unfiled year?

You can still enroll, but filing that year is not what a plan covers: a plan does not include preparing returns, and a notice asking you to file a return you have not filed is not covered.

Why do I need this?

A notice arrives with a deadline already running, and answering one properly takes a licensed practitioner. A plan means that person is yours before the letter lands, not after.

Who decides whether my notice is covered?

A person does. When you send us a letter, someone on our team reads it and checks your request against your plan terms — nothing is decided automatically. We may ask you for more information first. If the request is covered, we assign a practitioner to it; if it is declined, we tell you the ground it was declined on. Either way we tell you by email and in your account.

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from your dashboard in one click. No phone call, no chat, and no offer to click through. Once you cancel, you are not charged again, and your coverage continues through the last day of the period you have already paid for.
